What You Can Do

Climate change doesn't have to be the end for us. There are multiple solutions out there, ready to be put into action. Here's a few:

Solutions: About Us

ELECTRIC CARS

Compared to internal combustion engines, electric vehicles reduce carbon dioxide emissions by fifty percent. If they are solar powered, emissions drop by ninety-five percent. Charging electric cars is cheaper. The only problem is, electric vehicles cannot travel more than 80 to 90 miles on average. Soon, we might be able to get cars ranging up to 200 miles. Electric cars would cut down hugely on fossil fuel use.

SOLAR POWER

Concentrated solar power uses solar radiation, which does not use any carbon. Angled mirrors direct sunlight to a fluid that produces steam and turns turbines. Solar panels are best for sunny, dry places, and keep working even when the sun goes down.
